A stay at Windermere is what a vacation should be - relaxing in clean, cozy, family cottages complete with window boxes full of flowers and home-made cinnamon buns on your arrival. The view to the ocean across the road is beautiful at any time of the day and you can walk to the white sandy beach in minutes.
We thoroughly enjoy these quaint cottages, the bonfires and having a morning coffee (another one) or afternoon drink outside in your lawn chairs enjoying the view with family and friends. Pauline, the manager, is always friendly and helpful with whatever you might need.
We found the location of Windermere to be perfect- close to other North Shore sites like Covehead wharf for deep sea fishing, fish and chips, lobster and ice cream!
We look forward to staying at Windermere Cottages again this summer!
